In this business Flight Tests and Operations Division is the leading board both for Aviadvigatel and for Operations Support Office at Perm Engine Company. This very division determines the main strategy of Perm gas turbine machines reliability improvement.
The division main functions are as follows:
- Procedural management of Aviadvigatel divisions in support of the company`s products reliability.
- Establishment of reliability levels in the scope of Technical Design Specifications having assessed the possibility of their achievement.
- Evaluation and monitoring of reliability levels, research of products failure-safety during development, test and engineering activities, mass production and operation.
- Management and engineering support in well-timed working out of measures aimed at elimination and prevention of products defects by the company`s engineering departments.
- Management and engineering support of joint studies of mass-produced failed products at the manufacturing plant, overhaul companies and customer`s enterprises.
- Assurance of high-quality on-line and routine assessment of products reliability in head establishments of this industry and of a customer.
- Development and implementation of techniques of products failure-safety parameters prediction.
- Support and further development of scientific & research institutes of the industry, customer and related companies regarding reliability assurance.
To deliver on these targets, reliability and failure-safety softwares are applied, such as RAM Commander, RAMS complete tool covering all tasks regarding reliability, availability and maintainability, D-LCC system used for life cycle assessment and combining a variety of logistics techniques with costs simulation flexibility.
