GTE-10PK unit is designed to drive electric generator with rotation speed of the gearbox outlet shaft equal to 3 000 rpm.
Description
In compliance with contract between OJSC «Aviadvigatel» and ĪJSC «VARZ-400» (Vnukovo Aircraft Overhaul Plant - Moscow) specialists of design bureau «Aviadvigatel» develop technical project of GTE-10PK gas turbine on the basis of convertible D-30KU and D30-KP engines with traditional scheme : using gas-generator of the base engine and modification of low pressure turbine into power turbine with leading-out the drive shaft to compressor side. Generator gearbox shaft provides the optimal work of the power turbine and allows maximum usage of parametric potential of the base aircraft engine.
Mass production of these gas turbines will likely to be mastered in cooperation with OJSC «VARZ-400».
