GAZPROM TRANSGAZ UKHTA PREFERS PS-90A-BASED ENGINES
After commissioning of Myshkinsky compressor facility consisting of three GPA-Ts1-16S/76-1,35Ì gas compressor plants with PS-90GP-2 engines and two GPA-Ts1-16L/76-1,44 gas compressor plants with AL-31ST engines, Gazprom Transgaz Ukhta Ltd decided to upgrade the third compressor facility consisting of five GTK-10IR compressor packages with depleted service life. The packages are based on MS-3142JR engines.
Following the project described above, the contract was signed with Iskra-Turbogaz Ltd for delivery of the first GPA-12Ì-01 gas compressor plant of Ural series. Its shipment was planned for April 2008. The shipment of the next two plants is planned for 2009. GPA-12M-01 gas compressor plant is based on GTU-12P gas turbine powered by PS-90GP-1, one of the most reliable industrial engines. To date, its running time to unscheduled removal has exceeded 100,000 hours.
