PERM URAL SERIES GENSETS BEGAN OPERATION IN ARCTIC DESERT
In the second quarter of 2009 nine Ural series GT gensets were put into operation on the Yamal peninsula at Kharasaveiskoe and Bovanenkovskoe gas condensate oil and gas fields.
Ural-2500 power generating sets developed and produced by Aviadvigatel OJSC were delivered to Gazprom Dobycha Nadym Ltd under the contract between the Perm Design Bureau and Iskra-Avigaz CJSC. GT gensets units and systems are produced as modules of high degree of completion that simplifies their transportation and mounting. The genset recoupment period is 3-5 years.
Gazprom OJSC, develops Kharasaveiskoe and Bovanenkovskoe gas condensate oil and gas field deposits in the scope of the large gas-transportation project aimed at Yamal-Europa main gas pipeline construction. The commissioned Ural-2500 GT gensets will supply power to critical infrastructure facilities, field production and transport infrastructure as well as Kharasavey town located in the area of arctic deserts.
