A NEW POWER GENERATING SET AT LUKOIL-ZAPADNAYA SIBIR LTD, FIELDS

In June, 2009,  48 MW generating set was put into operation at Tevlinsko-Russkinskoe oil and gas field, one of the largest fields in the Western Siberia. The customer is LUKOIL-Zapadnaya Sibir Ltd

A new power generating set became the second power facility of LUKOIL-Zapadnaya Sibir Ltd produced on the basis of Perm gas turbines. In April, 2008 a power generating set rated at 72 MW was put into operation in the Vat'-Yoganskoye oil and gas field.

The GT genset at Tevlinsko-Russkinskoe oil and gas field consists of four EGES-12S power generating modules based on GTU-12PG-2 gas turbines. The gas turbines are installed in easeassembled enclosures (two in each enclosure). The fuel is associated oil gas produced at the field.

Together with commissioning of the latest genset based on Perm gas turbines LUKOIL-Zapadnaya Sibir Company continued to implement its own programm on associated oil gas utilization and also reduced oil production cost and achieved reliable supply of power to the field infrastructure taking into consideration the scheduled increase of production volume.
