At the Official Opening of the Thermal Power Plant of Silvinit OJSC
In November 2007 acceptance testing was finished and official opening of the GTU-TEC was held on the site of SKRU-1 in Silvinit OJSC - one of the biggest Russian suppliers of potash fertilizers. For two years the thermal power plant with the 12 MW power provides our structural subdivisions with electricity and heat power in steam with pressure of 1.4 MPa and temperature of 250 ºÑ.
In this project Aviadvigatel OJSC has acted as an executor of the whole scope of works with a turnkey approach (from equipment delivery to turn over of facilities to the customer).
During designing of the station the specialists of Perm Design Bureau studied the market of suppliers of primary equipment and received our approval for this research results. And so two GTES Ural-6000 GT gensets developed and manufactured by Aviadvigatel OJSC have become a basis for GTU-TEC. Podolsk Engineering Company ZIO-MAR has become a supplier of two Pr-17,8-1,4-230 vertical modular waste heat boilers with the productivity of 17.8 tons per hour of steam for each boiler. Booster compressor station DKKS-19-3 of Moscow firm NOEMI CJSC provides the required pressure of fuel gas. GTU-TEC is equipped with screw compressors by Grasso as well as with automatic control system for workflow of station.

The project has been carried out in the required timeline in compliance with the ecological, sanitary-epidemic, fire safety requirements in force at the territory of Russia providing for the unit operation which is safe for human health and life.
During acceptance testing GTES Ural-6000 GT genset has proved its compliance with the claimed technical parameters.
One should give credit for specialists of Aviadvigatel OJSC for their rapidity in solving the issues associated with construction, installation and operation of our thermal power plant.

By the beginning of November 2009 the total time of power plants of the Ural-6000 series in the structure of Silvinit GTU-TEC has made up more than 18.1 thousand hours.
