Perm enginebuilders were honoured with high prizes
In June 2010 by the Edict of Dmitry Medvedev, Russian Federation President, Alexander Inozemtsev, Managing Director-General Designer of Aviadvigatel OJSC, was awarded with Order of Honour. Alexander Semenov, Deputy General Designer - Chief Designer of Aero Engines of Perm Design Bureau was awarded with the title of "Honoured Designer of Russian Federation". Valery Firsov, the turner of Aviadvigatel's Development Plant machine-shop, was awarded with the Medal of "Order of Merit for Country" of the II Degree.
Alexander A. Inozemtsev is the winner of the RF State Prize in Science and Technology. Doctor of Technical Science. Professor, Head of Aero Engine Department of Perm State Technical University. Full Member of the Russian Academy of Aviation and Aeronautics Science. Has more than 100 publications, more than 50 patents and certificates of recognition, co-author of nine textbooks for institutes of higher education, including "Aircraft gas turbine engine PS-90A", "Structure and operation of powerplants for IL-96-300, Tu-204, IL-114 aircraft", five-volume textbook "Gas turbine engines. Principles of Aero-Engines and Power Generation Gas Turbines Designing", etc. Awarded with the Order of the Peter the Great, the Medal of the "Order of Merit for Country" of the II Degree, awarded with the Kosygin prize for huge achievements in solving the problems of Russia economy development.
Alexander N. Semenov, Deputy General Designer - Chief Designer of Aero Engines, has been working for the industry for more than 34 years. Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Aviation and Aeronautics Science. Participated in full-scale tests of D-30F6 engines and its version for MiG-31 fighter and M-55 "Geofizika", and in PS-90A development and certification. Under the direction of Alexander N. Semenov versions of PS-90A engine for military-transport and freight modifications of IL-76, IL-96 aircraft, and for the new modifications of Tu-204 were developed.
Valery D. Firsov, senior-grade turner, has been working for the industry for more than 40 years. Over the last eight years he made 10 innovation proposals aimed at processing technology improvement, technological process enhancement and product quality improvement. This made it possible to raise a performance level in quality of machine-shop product up to 99.7 %. Conscientious and highly professional work of Valery D. Firsov was awarded with State and Departmental prizes, many Letters of Gratitude and premiums by the company management.
