First Flight of IL-76MD-90 Aircraft
On December 27, 2005 the first flight of the updated IL-76MD-90 aircraft powered by the PS-90A-76 aero-engines was successfully completed.
The flight, which lasted for 22 minutes, was performed at the Flight Test Aerodrome of Voronezh Airframe Company. There were no remarks to the PS-90A-76 as noted Perm Engine Company specialists presented at the aerodrome.

Perm Motors and Saving Bank expand cooperation
On December 27, 2005 Perm Motors Group and Western Ural Bank of the Russian Saving Bank signed an Investment Agreement. The document was signed by General Director of Perm Motors Group Alexander Inozemtsev and Chairman of the Bank Vladimir Verkholantsev.

PERM MOTORS are developing a new gas turbine genset
At the end of December, 2005 Aviadvigatel Open Joint Stock Company entered into agreement with Vnukov Aviation Repair Works Open Joint Stock Co. for the development, manufacture and delivery of two gas turbine gensets for power generation rated 10 MW each.

New Tu-204-300 for Vladivostok Avia
On December 25, 2005 the forth Tu-204-300 powered by Perm PS-90A engines was transferred to Vladivostok Avia Airline. Today, Vladivostok Avia is ahead of all domestic regional airlines in the rate of putting into service state-of-the-art Russian liners.
