PS-90A Aero-Engines for “Rossia” Make South-East Asia Nearer
On December 26, 2006 Tu-214 aircraft with PS-90A engines owned by "Rossia" Airline will open a regular flight rout to India. Flight will start along the rout St. Petersburg - Mumbai (the city, which is well-known to Russian passengers as Bombay).
The medium-haul Tu-214 aircraft belongs to the last generation of Tu-family aircraft. By its performance the aircraft is in line with similar foreign aircraft Boeing 757-200 and Airbus-321 and meets all currently applicable ICAO standards thus allowing operating the aircraft without any restrictions at any international routs.
High operational and economic parameters of Tu-214 are mostly contributed by the aircraft propulsion system, which includes two PS-90A engines.
Additional Information
Mumbai is the largest megacity of India and locates not far from Goa resort, to which the Airline has recently made charter flights.
The non-stop flight of this up-to-date Tu-214 aircraft to the Indian city will support comfort business trips or new exotic travels for the "Rossia" passengers.
