PERM MOTORS shipped the next aero-engines to Silk Way Airlines

January 20, 2006. Perm Engine Company delivered next two PS-90A-76 aero-engines to re-engine the IL-76TD-90 cargo aircraft of Silk Way Airlines, one of the largest cargo carriers in Azerbaijan.

The third and forth aero-engines were shipped to Tashkent Aviation Manufacturing Amalgamation, where the IL-76TD-90 aircraft are assembled.

In total eight PS-90A-76 engines are planned to be supplied to Silk Way Airlines within the scope of the Memorandum of Understanding signed by and between PERM MOTORS GROUP and State-owned Concern "Azerbaijan Hava Yollary" in August 2005 at MAKS' 2005 Air Show. The second batch of the engines will be delivered not later than March this year. In March the first flight of Azerbaijanian Airline's aircraft is also expected. By the end of the year the second IL-76TD-90 freighter will begin its flight service.

At present Perm Engine Company is actively preparing the program of the engine after-market service support to maintain the engines trouble-free operation. As the representatives of Azerbaijan have noted, the high level of after-market support of the PS-90A-76 engines provided by Perm Engine Company paid its part when signing the delivery contract.
