Perm GTES(s) are put into service in Yamal

Nine "Ural-2500" gas turbine gensets were put into service in Yamal peninsula in April: four gensets at Kharasaveiskoe gas-condensate field and five more at Bovanenkovskoe field. Gensets designer, manufacturer and supplier is "Aviadvigatel" OJSC (part of Perm Motors Group). Manufacturer of GTU-2,5P gas turbines for gensets is "Perm Engine Company" OJSC.

Nine gensets were delivered to "Gazprom dobicha Nadym" under terms of the contract between "Aviadvigatel" OJSC and "Iskra-Avigaz" CJSC.

"Gazprom" OJSC develops Bovanenkovskoe and Kharasaveiskoe fields within the scope of major gas-transport project execution - construction of "Yamal-Europe" gas-main pipeline. Commissioned GTES "Ural-2500" will provide field objects and Kharasavey settlement with electricity.

Additional information:

As of 01.04.2009 since the beginning of the serial production more than 500 gas turbines and gas turbine gensets rated at 2,5-25 MW have been manufactured by perm engine manufacturers and delivered to the customers. Total operating time of gas turbines and GTES(s) at power and gas transportation objects has made more than 7,7 million hours.
