President's airwing received new Il-96-300 aircraft
In April the special airwing of Presidential Property Management Department received new Il-96-300 aircraft (side number 96019) powered by perm PS-90A engines. The solemn transfer took place at VASO OJSC (Voronezh) where the aircraft had been tested. Four PS-90A engines for Il-96-300 were shipped to VASO by "Perm Engine Company" OJSC in the middle of December 2008.
The delivery of new Il-96-300 aircraft equipped with perm PS-90A engines was made under terms of the contract between "Ilyushin Finance Co." and GTK "Rossia" airlines. In the end of 2008 a special airwing separated from GTK "Rossia" airlines.
New Il-96-300 powered by perm PS-90A engines has become the fourth aircraft operated in the special airwing of Presidential Property Management Department.

Quiet turbofan PS-90A engine with high level of commonality is one of the most important achievements of the Russian aircraft industry of the XXth century. PS-90A made it possible to enhance the new generation aircrafts profitability almost twice and at the same time to ensure their compliance with the world emission requirements.
"Perm Motors Group" will be a part of the integrated engine group "ODK" (United Engine Building Corporation) established by "Oboronprom" Corporation.
