Aviadvigatel OJSC and Lukoil-Zapadnaya Sibir LLC partnership goes on
In September, 2009 one more gas turbine power station (GTES) rated at 24 MW produced by Aviadvigatel was put into service on Pyakyakhinskoe oil and gas field of Yamalneftegas Territorial Production Plant which is a part of Lukoil-Zapadnaya Sibir LLC.
The new station comprises four "Ural-6000" power units each rated at 6MW. This is the fifth object of small power engineering produced by perm engine manufactures and installed on the fields mined by Lukoil-Zapadnaya Sibir LLC.
The agreement on production of Perm GTES "Ural-6000" for Pyakyakhinskoe oil and gas field was reached in August, 2008. In April, 2009 all power units were delivered to the customers; and in the shortest terms - since July till September - specialists from Aviadvigatel have provided installation, precommissioning and starting-up of the equipment.
According to Lukoil-Zapadnaya Sibir LLC choice each "Ural-6000" is provided with its own fire-fighting unit. All four stations are relatively synchronized to each other and can operate both individually and in parallel. It means the highest maintainability of the equipment and uninterrupted electricity supply to the customer.
The Perm equipment will use associated petroleum gas as a fuel, providing the needs of drilling rigs and field men's camp. Nowadays two drilling rigs are located on the field. The power station on the basis of four GTES "Ural-6000» is capable to provide not less than 7 similar units with electric power.
Additional information
Pyakyakhinskoe oil and gas field is the second project of hydrocarbons production which is realized by Yamalneftegas in Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area (Yamalneftegas is a part of Lukoil-Zapadnaya Sibir LLC). The first production well drilling on new field was started in April, 2009.
Besides Pyakyakhinskaya GTES, 14 Aviadvigatel's gas turbines with total power of 138 MW operate now on the objects of Lukoil-Zapadnaya Sibir LLC:
- 3 GTU-4P within GTES-4 power station with total power of 12 MW and GTES "Ural-6000" rated at 6 MW on Severo-Gubkinskoe oil and gas field;
- GTES-72 power station rated at 72 MW, the largest power generation of Lukoil-Zapadnaya Sibir LLC, on the basis of six EGES-12C power units on Vat-Eganskoe oil and gas field;
- GTES-48 power station rated at 48 MW on the basis of four EGES-12C power units on Tevlino-Ruskinskoe oil and gas field.
Also, four EGES-12C power units rated at 48 MW have been delivered to Lukoil-Zapadnaya Sibir LLC.
