The victory of Perm engine builders

On October 14 there were announced the results of the competition "The best city company by its production efficiency and social problems solutions". Traditionally the awarding ceremony of the prizewinners takes place at one of the city's industrial companies. This year OJSC "Perm Engine Co." has become such a host company, which has already won this competition many times before.

Mikhail Dicheskul, Managing Director of OJSC "Perm Engine Co.":

It's not the first time that our company takes part in this competition. Our company has been successfully developing for the last several years. We can say that the production volumes and the number of investment and social programs is constantly growing at OJSC "Perm Engine Co.". For instance, by the end of 2009 we are going to use around 600 mln roubles of capital assets. This amount is less than it was in 2008 but we are trying to use all the possible resources to support the development of the company even in crisis.

About 32 Perm companies took part in this competition. According to the results of their work in 2008, 14 companies have become prizewinners in different categories.  The companies of Perm Motors Group have been nominated three times. The awards have been given to OJSC "Perm Engine Co.", OJSC "Aviadvigatel" and OJSC "Reduktor - PM".

 While rewarding the winners Anatoliy Makhovikov, First Deputy Head of Local Administration, has stated:

The companies of Perm Motors Group show a vivid example of how companies with such a rich history and traditions can keep their leading positions in their industrial sector for such a long time. Besides this year we have received a big number of applications for participation in this competition. It shows that our companies can overcome this difficult economic situation, having no fear of future.
