Perm gas turbines for oil fields

In February 2010 OJSC "Perm Engine Co." fulfilled its contractual obligations concerning the commissioning of 4 GTU-12PG-2 gas turbines of Phase 1 at Yuzhno-Priobskaya gas turbine electrical power station (GTES) of LLC "Gazprom Neft-Khantos". CJSC "Iskra-Energetika" was the general contractor of this "turn-to-key" project.

With the commissioning of Phase 1 of Yuzhno-Priobskaya gas turbine electrical power station the number of currently operated Perm GTU-12PG-2 gas turbines has increased up to 27 pcs.

At the moment OJSC "Perm Engine Co." is manufacturing 4 GTU-12PG-2 gas turbines for Phase 2 of Yuzhno-Priobskaya gas turbine electrical power station. The shipment of these gas turbines is supposed to be in the third quarter of 2010.

Commissioning of Phase 2 of Yuzhno-Priobskaya gas turbine electrical power station will let us increase the total capacity of a gas turbine electrical station up to 96 MW.

Yuzhno-Priobskaya gas turbine electrical power station consists of EGES-12S power units, developed by OJSC "NPO "Iskra"" and manufactured by CJSC "Iskra-Energetika". GTU-12PG-2 gas turbines (developer - OJSC "Aviadvigatel", manufacturer - OJSC "Perm Engine Co.") are used as drives for EGES-12S power units.

Priobskoye oil field is on the territory of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District. At the moment LLC "Gasprom Neft - Khantos" (an affiliate of OJSC "Gazprom Neft") is developing the south part of this oil field.

Priobskoye oil field has a significant importance for a further development of OJSC "Gazprom Neft": this oil field should be the source of a long-term oil production of the company.
