GTU-4P gas turbine rated at 4 MW
GTU-4P is designed to drive generators of gas turbine generator sets. It is also possible to use the gas turbines as drives of pumps, compressors, etc.
The gas turbine is used in gensets:
- Ural-4000;
- GTES-4.
GTU-4P has been designed on the basis of the D-30 aero-engine of the third series, one of the most reliable engines in the history of world aviation.
GTU-4P and GTU-2,5P are the only gas turbines rated at 4 and 2,5MW in Russia that have ecological certificates of conformity of the Russian Federation State Committee On Environment Protection.

The experience of GTU-4Pgas turbine operation
As of the beginning of 2009 the high-time GTU-4P running time exceeded 55 000 hours without overhauling.
According to its technical condition the TBO of GTU-4P has been extended from 25 000 to 35 000 hours at "Lukoil-West Siberia", "Surgutneftegas" and JSC "YUNG- Energoneft".
