GTU-12P Industrial Gas Turbine
GTU-12P gas turbine is used as a mechanical drive of a centrifugal natural gas compressor in gas turbine pumping packages. GTU-12P has been successfully proven in service at Russian gas pumping stations. It is operated as part of "Ural" GPA-12 packaged modular gas pumping unite manufactured by "NPO "Iskra" OJSC and is used to retrofit the existing gas pumping packages such as GTK-10, GPA-C-16 and some others.
GTU-12P core is the PS-90GP-1 gas turbine engine based on the PS-90À aircraft engine, the only one Russian fourth generation civil aviation engine with International Type Certificate.

The experience of GTU-12P gas turbine operation
As of the beginning of January, 2009 such gas transport and gas production companies as "Gasprom", "Surgutneftegas", "RN-Yuganskneftegas" operate 76 GTU-12P gas turbines.
The operating time of GTU-12P gas turbines for 2008 is 168 415 hours.
The total operating time of GTU-12P since operation start is 1 050 675 hours.
The operating time of the high-time GTU 12P is 46 564 hours.
